Spring. Don’t you just love the warm sun starting to come in, all the flowers and green making its show. Days start to get longer and we crave more and more outside time? I’m starting to feel it already and what better thing to kick-off this season than with a good new TBR?
Let’s start with what I have been diving into this start of the year.
What I read this winter
- ACOTAR #1: A Court of Thorns and Roses
- ACOTAR #2: A Court of Mist and Fury
- My 3 favorite Baby Books of all time: What to Expect, “Estamos Grávidos! E agora?” by the Portuguese babies’ nurse Carmen Ferreira and Cherish the First Six Weeks
Yes, I totally ditched my February TBR.
I can blame the pregnancy hormones and the desire to have all the things prepared for baby to come. But I’m pretty happy with what I have focused on and all the good information I have learned. And that’s pretty much my focus for the rest of my reading year. After a 100 books read year, I just want to focus on learning and the joy of reading for this year.
So, without further ado, here are all my planning reads for this Spring:
What I’m reading this spring
- ACOTAR #3: A Court of Wings and Ruin
- Be Useful by Arnold Schwarzenegger
- Ser Mãe com Esperança by Catarina Gouveia
- Os Bebés também querem dormir by Constança Cordeiro Ferreira
Yes, only 4 books. With a little one coming, less slept nights, I don’t want to stress myself with a long TBR, on contrary, I will be focus on finishing the baby books I’m reading right now, the awesome book from Arnold Schwarzenegger which have been putting a fire under my b*tt and seize the fiction world of ACOTAR during the baby night feeds.
If you’d like to keep up with more on what I’m reading with more regular updates, follow me on Goodreads. I’m usually pretty active there with updates at least weekly.
Are you looking forward to lying in the grass with a book already? I know I am. Have a lovely Spring, everyone!
