Being the hopeless romantic I am and a writer, I spend a big part of my free time watching researching different tv shows and movies to fill my weel (aka my hopeless romantic heart of exciting new ideas to incorporate into my stories). So I have decided: what better way to put that “hobby” more to work than create a new series here on the blog? For all the hopeless romantics out there, here is the #RomanticSuggestionOftheWeek, the series you were waiting for to feed your TBW queue.
*to-be-watched queue.
This weeks suggestion comes as a complete surprise to me, since I myself have only discovered it two days ago and have indeed binged-watched it during the last two nights. (Yes, I didn’t sleep much, no, maybe I need to take a nap). With a Taylor Swift soundtrack (which I’m not a fan, to be honest), the biggest surprise of this series was indeed to be inspired by Jenny Han’s book series of the same name. Yes, the same author that wrote To All The Boys I’ve Loved.
But if you’re thinking of finding a 2nd Peter Kavinsky here, you’re going to be way disappointed because what you have is so much more and his name is Conrad.
Maybe it’s because we all (or around 80% of the people) like a good Damon, but Conrad seems to have won the hearts of not only Belly, the lead girl of this story, but our hearts too.
If you loved The Vampire Diaries and the first The Kissing Booth (sorry Beth, I can’t with the last movie and book, I’ve been trying to finish it for a year now!) you will love this one.
Where to watch it: Amazon Prime.
Well, there you have it. A discovery that filled my heart for at least one more week, while I struggle to draft my next book idea. I hope it fills yours too.
If you enjoy romantic movies and tv shows too, don’t forget to subscribe via e-mail so you can receive the next #RomanticSuggestionOftheWeek directly in your inbox!
I also write about tech, career, and other adult things (sometimes). If you arrived here from a quick tv series search, get to know more about me right here.
