Emily Henry

I had been postponing reading Emily Henry books for a couple of months, even if they were strongly recommended for lovers of The Summer I Turned Pretty. But with Simone’s The Emily Henry Summer Reading Challenge I decided to give it a try. And may I say that after 2 books I may have found my favorite? I’ve been binge-reading Beach Read every change I get (aka when the kids let me) and I’m loving it. Maybe because I’m a writer and reading about writers is especial and inspirational, but I strongly prefer the narrative and the mystery of not knowing the whole story about January’s family. I’m hooked!

Outer Banks

Seems like it has became a tradition to end these posts with a tv show recommendation but I’m indeed a tv show lover and I can’t stop myself, so here it is this month suggestion: Outer banks. Which I started for research purposes (my favorite reason to binge-watch and read anything these days 😀 haha) but got hooked into. I got in due to the beach and summer vibes but stayed for the mystery, treasure hunt and the romance. I’m team Sarah + John B plus JJ + Kiara. But Season 2 and 3 Topper is being really sweet, although I can’t forget him being a bit of an asshole in Season 1. Anyway, a good tv show to add to my Hot series / movies to watch this summer list.
