Let’s have a temporary break from our winter blues and self-care blog posts to bring you a new monthly series I’m starting inspired by Carly’s On My Radar series: My favorites from the web this month. We will come back next monday for our next blogpost on how I finally incorporated a winning regular Self Care routine, but for now…
Here are my favorites from the web this month:
Pomodoro Kitty
Recommended on some video I can’t remember anymore, I found the cutest pomodoro page for my focus work time: Pomodoro Kitty. If you enjoy the pomodoro technique or are looking for a way to improve your concentration, take a look at this adorable page.
100 Dreams
After starting my maternity leave before planned, I found myself blocked and overwhelmed. Unplugging and de-stressing was tougher than I thought and I found myself searching for something that would help me to make the shift. This was the thing I needed. I started by reading the original article from Caroline Ceniza-Levine and then reading all Laura Vanderkam blogposts on the subject. The idea is to use this exercise when you feel lost on your career or life, like you’re not sure why you don’t feel enthusiasm or don’t know where to go next. It was a good exercise, even for me that always have a list of goals on hand. I needed to re-evaluate and remember that it was okay to dream a bit more and to also work on these dreams while I rest and wait for baby F to be here in April.
This playlist to read A Court of Thorns and Roses
Yes, I’m diving into ACOTAR this year. And I’m loving it. The first book was a solid 4* for me, only reason for not being 5* being some descriptions that I found a bit dool, but maybe they were because of the translation? Not sure, but I have dived into the second book already and I’m excited to see more of Rhys. He stole my heart right from the first scene. But back to the playlist. This is the one that made me fall in love for ACOTAR playlists, so if you are looking into diving into the series, click play on this one and snuggle up on a cosy corner with your book. You will not regret it.

And there you have it. Hope you enjoyed this new series. Let’s meet again here next week for my self-care routine. Clue: there is no fancy cream or spa in there, only easy things that anyone can incorporate. See you then!
