Betwixmas
The week in-between Christmas and New Years Day
via Urban Dictionary
This week I bring you what I love doing every Betwixmas, the marvelous week between Christmas and the New Years where not a mouse stir, and hopefully no one else is working like crazy either.
Betwixmas. Have you ever heard the expression? First time I heard it was in Tanya’s Burr Tanya’s Christmas book and I loved the idea of taking this week off or slower, focusing on resting and recharging for the new year. Since I’m a big lover of planning and starting every year Quarter organized and in full force, I added a bit of Goal planning in there also.
It’s the perfect idea for the week that corresponds to the days between the day after Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve: the 26th until the 30th. I like to say these days because the 31st usually is already a packed day of getting all ready to ring in the new year, so I expect it from it. Hope you feel inspired by this list and get to start 2024 in the most brilliant way you need!
? Relax and snuggle while watching all the movies on the sofa
? Eat all the Christmas leftovers!
? And all the chocolates, especially Ferrero Rocher, our family favorites!
? Plan my year with Your Best Year from Lisa Jacobs and Angie Bellemare’s Vision Board annual Party
? Go out to celebrate the last Friday of the year!
? Plan my TBR for 2024 (to be read list)
? Leftover Pizza night! – use all the leftover cheese and cold meats <3
? Take care of myself for New Year’s Eve – in-home spa treatments, make-up, and that fancy dress, even if I’m not planning on going out of the house, it’s the night to go all in!
