This is a monthly series inspired by Carly’s On My Radar series: My favorites from the web this month. We will come back next Monday with our usual scheduling but for now…
Here are my favorites from the web this month:
Bill Gates’s Think Week
While finish watching Netflix documentary Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates I re-found this concept of a Think Week and now I can’t wait to try it myself. If you don’t know what it is, here is a small clip of the documentary, but if it sounds interesting, I recommend you to watch the full documentary where they explain it a little bit further.
And his evening routine surprising secret
And while we are talking about spending a full week reading, why not talk about how Bill Gates spends every evening reading and… washing the dishes… for meditative purposes. I was always curious on how successful people spend their time, but learning a little more about Bill Gate’s routine in the documentary made me curious on learning more, that was when I found this article from Inc. Yes, it’s true. Dish washing as a meditation. And doesn’t it make sense? Well, I’m not sure if I’m not lazy enough to do it every day but maybe I will try it as a change of mindset when I will have to clean all the baby bottles in a few weeks?
Through my child’s eyes
This Carly’s blogpost. I think every mom can relate to it. I find myself thinking the same time and time again and, regarding the snaps, I always love to find them in my camera roll, is a way to see and save his discoveries. I’m not sure if my cloud storage limit is loving it, though. But the blogpost got me thinking: wouldn’t it be cool if I start a monthly blogpost with baby T snaps? The month through my child’s eyes?
