This is a monthly series inspired by Carly’s On My Radar series: My favorites from the web this month. We will come back next Monday with our usual scheduling but for now…
Here are my favorites from the web this month:
Milena Ciciotti
In preparation for Baby 2 coming in April, I have been doing a lot of learning on postpartum, on how to improve our breastfeeding experience and life with 2 kids, Milena Ciciotti’s YouTube channel has been my oasis lately. I totally recommend it if you are looking to have a vision of a real mother and looking to learn more about how to juggle life with more than 1 kid, Montessori content, which I’m just beginning to learn, and see how can we implement pieces of it with Baby T, plus some much-needed pregnancy fashion inspiration that I have been craving so much without knowing. #GoodbyeUgglyPregClothes
Preparing for going from 1 to 2 kids
Yes, I have been doing a lot of preparing. A lot. I have said this to André before, I have been studying so much more for Baby 2 than I did for Baby T! I think it’s because I already know that postpartum can be hard and I want to do my best to have a better experience this time, and that includes also preparing for Baby T to not be our only baby anymore. I think all parents feel that little fear that the old one would struggle with the arrival of his sibling, so I will leave here one of the best articles I read on the subject that includes some tips we will be working on when Baby 2 comes.
Pregnancy workouts
No, I’m not turning into Carolina Patrocínio or anyone who is a really fit person, at least not yet. But after having this little one inside of me growing bigger than his brother and still wishing for a natural birth, I had to embrace adding some exercise to my daily routine. And I have been feeling so much better. The doctor’s order was to walk, which I have been meeting my goal for weeks now, but with some inspiration from Milena Ciciotti, I have been diving into pre-natal yoga and stretches and am craving to try pilates. Hello, who am I? I’m looking forward to trying Melissa Wood workouts in the coming weeks. Will bring back my feedback as soon as I try it.
